Public Transportation Under General Community Quarantine

Public transportation in NCR was suspend since the implementation of ECQ ( Enhanced Community Quarantine ) to control the number of people going out and to avoid close contact of commuters.

In line with the shift to GCQ ( General Community Quarantine) ,the Department of Transportation (DOTr) now lifted the suspension of public transportation provided with the guidelines below:

 Wearing of face masks at all times

– Implementation of no-contact measures such as cashless payments. 

– Use of thermal scanners

– Availability of alcohol and sanitizers in Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) 

– Disinfection of high-touch surfaces of vehicles

– Establishment of disinfection facilities in various public transport terminals

– Contact Tracing

The City of Valenzuela through their official Facebook page has also released their policies in the resumption of the public transportation.
